The Marble Queen Pothos Kokedama measures roughly 7 inches tall with a 4 inch moss ball. The display plate, teapot, and Buddha okimono are not included.
As an epiphytic plant, epipremnum aureum (pothos) tend to grow on other plants and can often be seen climbing up trees. Popular as both climbing and trailing plants, they do exceptionally well in a kokedama. You can style it by suspending or placing in a nice dish/plate and train them to trail or climb.
CARE: Pothos are often considered one of the easiest to care for house plants. They have the desirable characteristics of frequent growth, easy propagation, and are less susceptible to pests. They tolerate most lighting conditions except full sun or no light. High indirect light levels will give you the best results. They are tolerant of almost all humidity levels, though you will need to water it more frequently with humidity less than 20%. For bushier growth patterns, you may want to prune frequently and propagate the clippings to make a separate plant or gift to friends.
Their watering schedule is also more tolerant of the occasional missed drink and you should aim to water your kokedama when it feels light. Water by submerging the moss ball in water for 10 to 15 minutes. They only need to be fertilized during the growing season and are tolerant of most diluted natural and chemical plant foods.
Warning - they do contain insoluble calcium oxalate crystals which makes it toxic to consume for both humans and pets .
Marble Queen Pothos
Epipremnum aureum is commonly known as Pothos. They come in a rich variety of shapes, colours, and sizes and are prized for being some of the hardiest plant species known in the house plant trade. You may be familiar with it under names such as Devil's Ivy, Money Plant, Silver Vine, Devil's Vine, and Taro Vine.
In the wild, they can grow 10 m (30 ft) tall with leaves showing fenestrations and often being mistaken for Monstera deliciosa. However, in average house conditions, leaves may range in size from 5 cm (2 in) to 20 cm (8 in) in size.
