Peperomia Obtusifolia Marble Kokedama measures approximately 9 inches tall with a 4.5 inch moss ball or tear drop. The display plate and teapot are not included.
CARE: Low to bright light and artificial full-spectrum light is great. Low light does not mean no light. Protect this plant from direct sunlight. Don't overwater as it is susceptible to root rot. Allow the kokedama to dry out between waterings to a barely moist level. Water sparingly in winter, when growth is slower. A humidity of 40-50% is ideal. The preferred temperature range is 18-24°C. Leaf drop may be caused by a build-up of salts in the soil from soft water or too much fertilizer. Feed monthly spring through fall with a liquid or water-soluble fertilizer, diluted by half. Stop feeding in winter, when growth is slow.
In general, it is a resistant plant, although it can have problems with aphids and mealybugs. Furthermore, excessive watering can cause root rot.
